Rates
The charge for therapy is calculated on a sliding scale based on the family's total gross yearly income:
- $0 - $60,000 = $60
- $60,000 - $70,000 = $70
- $70,000 - $80,000 = $80
- $80,000 - $90,000 = $90
- $90,000 - $100,000 = $100
- $100,000 - $110,000 = $110
- $110,000 ++ = $120
Insurance
At Advocate Christian Counseling, we no longer file for insurance due to the difficulty in collecting payment. However, if you would like to file yourself for reimbursement, we will be happy to provide you with all the necessary paperwork. Just check with your insurance carrier to see if they will pay for out of network providers. Oftentimes, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Aetna still have Becky Downey (under her previous name, Rebecca Pawley) listed as a network provider. Please be aware that if you do file with your insurance company we must include a diagnosis in order for you to be reimbursed. This diagnosis stays on your medical record.
Reduced Fee
Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis.
Payment
Cash, check and all major credit cards accepted for payment. For a first time appointment, payment is required at the time of scheduling.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified us at least 48 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
